Tea Break...

"Tea to the English is really a picnic indoors." ~ Alice Walker

Tea break...
Fine, fine Paul Smith china produced to original Victorian values.
Hand painted and glazed, the gold edging is equivalent of 22 carat gold.

Does tea taste better in a stripy?

tea should taste fabulous in those cups! and those sweet treats too! isn't tea the best meal of the day?

Stripy or not, but it's got to be proper china to make tea taste its best (and to please the eye, of course).
Love macaroons...

Why dont' americans do something in the afternoon... the English have tea, the people of Mexico have siesta's.. why dont' we have something relaxing and enjoyable? I would like to start a new tradition.. tea in the pm! Get a favorite cup and a little pot of your favorite tea..sit back and enjoy!

I'm going to go with yes on that one. And that's the second great Alice Walker quote I read today. Love it. I think I was English in a former life.

Hi Susan,

I do like a cup of tea first thing in the morning.
Also like Paul Smith and the stripey china is lovely.
Also the macaroons look delicious.

I am an absolute tea snob. It does taste better in a nice cup - and the china by Paul Smith is gorgeous.
