Dramatic entrances... Hall ways and staircases speak volumes of the home. From a floating staircase to a colourful elegant hallway, they are all here to inspire.

Thanks for the wishes we are all ready water cans full rumpus room (play room) full with with garden furniture, dogs been walked kids had a good play out side & the wind just picking up so headed in widows just finished taping up so having lunch & watching some DVD's fingers crosses we dont loose the power, candels & board games ready in case!! Love these. The idea board framed in gold with wellies on the floor, the large white bowl on the console table, the simple white foyer with beautifully covered stairs and the first photo of the entrance to a clearly stylish lady.
Love this post. And you're right, an entrance is the first impression and usually an accurate one of the person who resides within the home.
Beautiful entrance hallways - I love the first picture with the dramatic dark floorboards and the pretty blue one on the third photo. I wish we had a grand entrance to our little cottage :-)
ooo I love the first one - that blue is wonderful! xxx
ReplyDeleteWow, that dark blue is where it's at!
ReplyDeleteMy entry is usually a disaster area - at its best it's tidy and functional, but never really stylish.
The 5th and final photos are really something for me to shoot for. Lovely.
oh the hallway on the 3rd picture is absolutely dreamy! hope you have a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteFab entrances and hallways....have a wonderful weekend, xv.
ReplyDeleteA person's entry tells a tale of the inhabitants they say... something about first impressions!

ReplyDeleteI love these entryways...I'm jealous now because our entryway is so small that I can't use any of these ideas. Hmmm...maybe our next home?
